Can you please clarify? The media manager has nothing to do with Econa. Econa is using the media manager only to allow you select an image from your server.
Please explain in detail what you are trying to achieve so we can help you.

Econa does not work with the media manager. The Joomla media manager has no hooks for supporting something like that. Econa is designed to be used as an image field for articles ( or any other component that supports custom fields ).
