Problem with dragging zoomed image in modal view

Hi,

Here's my setup for a single image custom field: 

Resize originals: Enabled
Original Image Width: 1500
Original Image Height: 1500
The width of the biggest thumbnail (Extra Large: 800.

Now, there are 2 problems:

1) I set Extra Large thumbnail to be displayed in Article view with 'Display the biggest image in modal' option. I mean - I thought it would display the resized original in the modal, but instead it displays Extra Large in modal. I've fixed this with template override, but maybe I'm missing something more obvious,

2) I've uploaded image with size 4134x6201 (portrait orientation). Now when I display it in modal and click zoom, I can drag the image sideways only, no way I can drag it up and down. When I click zoom once again - I still can only drag it sideways. I have to zoom the image so it feels the whole screen (and then some) - now dragging works in every direction.

Could you please share a link to the page where I can see the issue? It will help me better understand what’s happening and suggest the best solution.

Regarding your first point — you are correct. The “Display the biggest image in modal” option currently uses the largest available thumbnail (Extra Large in your case), not the resized original. Original images are only kept for re-resizing and toggling watermarks. 

As for the zoom/dragging issue — I’d like to see it in action to get a better idea of what’s causing the problem.
