 Hi,

Keep original image (possibly with a limit ~ 2000px) to eventually regenerate a set of different sizes of the creation during an update of the site in time!
Obviously it requires to have a tool to regenerate all the images!

Because at the moment I imagine that everything has to be generated?

Hi,

That's something we have done in our gallery extension and we have a lot if users complaining about disk space. I am really confused about this feature!
Currently, the only way to regenerate the images is to open and save the articles.

Any thoughts are welcome.

Hi,

"That's something we have done in our gallery extension and we have a lot if users complaining about disk space. I am really confused about this feature!"
=> Surprised that this poses a problem to other users
Can this be solved by proposing to the user to choose the operation that he wants?
"Currently, the only way to regenerate the images is to open and save the articles."
=> Should we also redownload the original image?
Or is the original image stored elsewhere? because we must have it, to regenerate properly!

Hi,

It's a problem for other users because it takes up disk space on the server.
The original image is not stored currently. So, the answer is that you need to upload it again if you need to change the ratio or upscale it.

I will change many things in Econa. Keeping the original image is probably one of them.
