Why is the latest release of the plugin not showing in the Joomla updater ? Must one install the plugin manually everytime there is a new release??

Is there a case you have disabled the extension update site? You can check this under "Extensions" -> "Manage" -> "Update sites".
The update is showing up for my sites with no issues.

Hmm.. no it was not disabled... I will await next release and check again. Now I updated manually this time.

The extensions manager is also using a cache layer. There is a button to clean the cache. In any case, please let me know if you get the same behaviour in the next update.
