Hi,

We have a problem, where we get the error message "Unsupported operand types: string / null" everytime we open a article in the backend, for editing.
But it only started happening after installing Econa, and if we unpublish the "Content - Econa Article Images" plugin, the problem disappears.

As suggested in other ticket, we have tried reinstalling the plugin, but to no avail.

Information about the install:
Joomla 4.2.7
PHP 8.1.15
Econa 1.8.7

Also - we have Akeeba Admin Tools on the site, and receive the following PHP Exception message, when the error occurs:
A PHP Exception occurred on your site. Here you can find the stack trace:

Exception Type: TypeError

File: /var/www/vhosts/domain/httpdocs/plugins/content/econa_article_images/fields/econaarticleimage.php

Line: 45

Message: Unsupported operand types: string / null

Not sure if you can use this, to pinpoint the issue any further?

Cheers,
Henrik Holm Nielsen

Hi Henrik,

Can you please try to edit the plugin "Econa - Article Images" in the plugin manager and just click the save button? I think that this error occurs because some options values are not set.
Please let me know if this solves the issue.

Hi again,

Unfornunately editing and just saving the plugin, does not make a difference :(

Anything else I can try?

Hi Henrik,

Just edit the plugin again and check the values in the option named "Aspect ratios". If there are any entries there, make sure that you have entered a valid ratio like 5/3. If you don't want any ratios just remove them.

Perfect - typing in rhe aspect ratio, did the trick!

Thanx a lot :)

You are welcome.
I have updated the extension so this does not occur even when there is no valid aspect ratio set.
Thank you for reporting this.
