Route 66 Smart Slider 3 conflict

Hi

For some years now I have been running both Route 66 and Smart Slider 3 side by side on https://focuswebsites.com.au with no problems.

Today I installed an update for Route 66 and I lost all Smart Slider 3 sliders on all browsers both Mac and PC. By disabling Route 66 extensions one at a time I have isolated the problem to the Route 66 Administrator component version 1.9.12.

There should be three sliders on the home page and one at the head of every other page

Error Reporting showed no errors.

To demonstrate the problem I have enabled the Route 66 Administrator component, Error Reporting is set to Maximum and Debug System is enabled.

The problem appears to be with Route 66 Administrator component.

Can you assist please.

Hi Graham,

Route 66 has a feature which helps you optimize the performance of your website by combining all the javascript code of the site in one file. 

You can try to disable this feature in Route 66 options under the tab named "Google PageSpeed". The option is named "Optimize Javascript". That will probably resolve the issue.

However, keep in mind that this reveals an underlying issue. One of the javascript files/snippet that is loaded in your page probably has some errors and that's why the combined file is not working as expected. 

If you do want to keep javascript optimization let me know after you disable "Optimize Javascript" so I can take a quick look to spot the problematic script/markup.
