 Hi FireCoders team :)
Sine I have Route66 installed I have now my OG tags on my pages. That's great. I was wondering if you ever had considered to add Twitter tags on your component (just to avoid another plugin or component installed).
Thanks in advance for any advice or feedback.
Best.

Hi Stephan,

According to the Twitter documentation Open Graph tags should be enough for sharing in Twitter. Have you faced an issue when trying to share ? If any Twitter specific meta tags are required we will add them for sure!

Hi Lefteris. Thank you for your reply.
Actually, OG tags does not give the "card" signal to twitter and that's what I'm waiting for when sharing an item from one of my websites.
Here is an example of the kind of Tweet I'm waiting :

If you have a look at the header of the page shared on this screenshot, i have twitter tags (generated with K2) which appears in the screenshot below. I think the : name="twitter:card" content"summary" - is important there for that.

If I have just OG tags, the item shared on twitter look like this (just tested), screenshot below :

Did I miss anything ?
Thanks for any advice.

No, you didn't miss anything. it looks that you are totally right. I am adding the extra meta tag right now. There will be no update until we add more fixes/features. If you need it as soon as possible let me know so I can send you the development version.

Great! Thank you :) I'll wait for the update then.
