Hi!

When we open an article in the CMS we see some languagestrings that are not translated. See this screenshot:

https://snipboard.io/4MZTaD.jpg

Maybe this happens because we first installed the free version and the installed the pro version over it?

These string relate to the Open Graph settings. On our site we already have an Open Graph plugin that handles the OG tags. Is there a way to disable this in Route 66? Now the OG tags are showing up twice.

Kind regards,
Jip

Hi Jip,

Yes you can disable this feature. Just disable the plugin named "Content - Route 66 Metadata".
Regarding the missing translations this is weird. Have you modified the translation file?

Hi Lefteris,
Thanks. Disabling the plugin did the trick.
This pluin only adds the OpenGraph metadata?

Translation: No i believe I have not modifeid any files. But I did first use the free version and later installed the PRO version. Not sure if that might have caused this?

Where should the language files for this plugin be? I could look and see if the file is maybe missing. Is it the admin component language file? Or the plugin language file?

No, you have not modified nothing, you are right, there was an issue. It was working for me only because the language file was loaded by the SEO analyzer.

I have fixed the issue. If you don't want to wait until the update just add the following code in line 39 of the file plugins/content/route66metadata/route66metadata.php:

$language = JFactory::getLanguage();
$language->load('com_route66', JPATH_ADMINISTRATOR . '/components/com_route66');

Thank you for reporting.

I don't mind waiting for the update. Thanks!
