 Joomla 3.10.10, Route 66 v 1.9.6, JCE v 2.9.27 with HTML Validate set to no. OSMeta v 2.0.4

When I add a title tag, JCE removes unless I put it at the foot of the article.

If i put into OSMeta for SEO tag, despite adding many more words, Route 66 still tells me the title is too short. Leads me to believe that Route 66 doesn't see tags in OS Meta

the item is question this URL https://chriswhitedesigns.com/first-sail-on-a57-lely which is linked to a menu...

this is what was manually added to the footer of the article

<title>Bristol RI to New York City on A57 Lely</title>

Question. WHERE IS THE SEO TITLE THAT ROUTE 66 SEES AND EVALUATES. Does Route 66 play well with OSMeta? if not, what else would work (ie, iJoomla SEO etc). Or. is the menu item overruling both OSMeta SEO title and the manually added SEO title???

Thanks for your time. Fantastic product. Well work the money

Hi David,

Route 66 SEO analysis comes in two different integrations. The form integration (the SEO widget you see when you edit the article) is able to evaluate only the regular article data (article title and article text). It cannot read the data for any other extension installed and is impossible to know how each of those extensions affects the front-end output of your site. For those cases we have developed the URL based SEO analysis. This tool is only available in the PRO version of Route 66 and analyses the final output of your page including the component, the modules and the template output.

In regular Joomla articles without any third-party extensions the article title is used as the page title, so this is what the form SEO widget reads.
Finally, keep in mind that placing a title element inside your content is invalid. The title element is used in the head section only.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Regards
