I'm curious what is going on. No matter how well we optimize an article, with all green checkmarks, the SEO score never exceeds 82%. Is this a limitation with the Yoast integration or a configuration issue on our end?

Hi Steven,

Do you have a URL of the page you try to optimize? This sounds indeed like a bug since you get no warnings.

Here you go:

I am sure there will be changes to the score based on analyzing the whole page versus just the article, but again, we often see full green checkmarks with a score that never exceeds 82% - which seems odd to us.

Thank you,

Just more curiosity than anything, but we'll get our optimization score some other way. I didn't know if anyone else had the issue, if it was a bug, or if it was just the configuration on our end.

Thanks.

Hi Steven,

It's not a configuration issue. I am facing the exact same issue. I am working on it. Probably something has changed in the Yoast analyzer and we need to adjust our integration.

OK great. Thank you for the followup. I appreciate the effort. I really love this tool.

Hi Steven,

Just sent you an email with the development version of Route 66. In my tests this release is fixing the 82 score issue.
Please let me know if that works for you.

Thank you for sending the development version. I have installed and begun testing. I can confirm that the scores have changed, and the current maximum is 88% for all articles with full green check marks.

I am receiving this error for the analysis tool: "An error has occurred. 0 Invalid controller class: seo"

Hi Steven,

It looks like we should switch from scores to a more generic rating like Yoast does.
Regarding the error you get, I just tested the package I sent you under both Joomla 3 and Joomla 4 and it worked fine. Can you provide more details on this?
If this is not a live site you can enable debugging under Joomla global configuration in order to get more information.

Thanks for your continued support.

When running the SEO analysis tool, upon submitting, this is what is displayed:

I have applied debugging, but no other errors are displayed.

Hi Steven,

Which Joomla version are you using?

Steven Ice
Joomla version 4.2.6; PHP 8.0.27

Steven Ice
Thank you for updating the Yoast engine. I can achieve 100% scores on articles. After upgrading to 1.9.8 and 1.9.9, I still get "An error has occurred.
0 Invalid controller class: SEO" whenever I try to run the "Route 66: SEO Analysis" tool. I don't see any errors logged.

Thank you for any advice.

Hi Steven,

Is there any chance that you installed the free version package instead of the PRO?

Regards

Steven Ice
That question helped me resolve this. For some reason, there were two "Route 66 SEO analysis administrator" modules published, and the one appearing was from the free edition and not my pro edition. I appreciate your help. You can close this ticket.

Hi Steven,

I am glad that we finally resolved this issue.
Please let me know if you need anything else.
