Hello,

maybe it is the same problem as in the other article:
https://www.firecoders.com/help-desk/showtime-image-gallery/Ticket/1148:joomla-5-and-falang-showtime-not-working

I use this plugin to link articles together.
https://www.tassos.gr/joomla-extensions/advanced-custom-fields/docs/articles
I can read all custom fields except for Showtime.
I only get the ID of the gallery as value, but I can't get to the images.

What can I do? Thank you for help :)

This is independent of Falang.

I now have the same problem with the JA Megafilter.
I only get the ID of the custom field from Showtime, but not the content.

Hi Joachim,

There is really nothing we can do on our part. We use the value to store the gallery ID, not the gallery data.
Then when Joomla triggers the custom field plugin events we generate the output for the specific gallery ID.

So, if a third-party extension promises to support custom fields, it needs to trigger the custom fields events the same way Joomla does.
Otherwise it does not support fully the custom fields, it's just displaying some data from the database.
