Actually the problem is that the thumbnails of newly uploaded images work, but the old images are all of a sudden not in a <picture> tag but in a <p> tag !! What is going on here ??

Thank you for bringing this to my attention.
The new version is generating WebP variations for uploaded images. I’m not entirely sure why this is happening, but I’ll take some time to review the code and identify the cause. In the meantime, here’s how you can fix the affected gallery:
- Edit the gallery.
- Change the thumbnail dimensions to regenerate the thumbnails.
- Save the gallery.
This process should generate the WebP variations correctly.
If you’re experiencing this issue across multiple galleries, you can use the "Generate Images" button in the administration area to address them all at once.
I’ll release an update with a fix as soon as possible.
