 I am trying to add a link below the image, I click the image, click the 'insert/edit link' icon. In the pop up box, I am unable to type anything in the 'url' field. There are two values hard coded in there <top> <bottom>

I want to be able to add a description below the image, that links to another page on the website. Is this possible ?

Hi,

Can you please provide more details? Are you editing an image of the gallery? Which editor are you using? The description is using the standard Joomla editor, so adding a link should work.

Sure.
Components > Showtime Image Gallery > Galleries

Click on Gallery, click on an image

Insert Link

I get the pop up box on the attached image, but am unable to type anything into Url, Text to Display, Title

If i click the Url field, two options display <top> <bottom>

Your text to link here...

Hi,

This is just a list of results that the editor suggests. You can keep typing the URL you wish and the link should work normally. This is a functionality of the editor. You will get the exact same behavior if you try to add a link to Articles.

As I explained on my original post, I am not able to type in any of the boxes.

In articles it works fine.
