Hi! When we create a new gallery in an article using the plugin, and then later delete the gallery from the component there is still some gallery code remaining in the article the gallery was created in. This can easily be deleted, but I was wondering if it might be possible to somehow warn the user about the missing gallery and ask to delete is, or just to delete the plugin code when the gallery does not exist anymore? On article load, or on save?

I am not sure if there is or can be a relation (saved) between the gallery and the article(s) it is used in? Maybe it would be nice to be able to see in the component where the gallery is being used? Maybe an article ID / Title?

Just some thoughts... No big issues.

Kind regards,
Jip

Hi,

Unfortunately there is no easy (efficient) way to delete all the orphan gallery tags. The only thing that can be done is show a warning when the article is edited. However I don't know if there is any point adding this since users will probably see the missing gallery even without the message.
